Grant Winthrop is a Managing Director at Douglass Winthrop. Prior to joining the firm he was a Partner at Milbank Winthrop & Co. where he managed portfolios for high net worth individuals, families and trusts. His prior experience includes service as a Director of Wood Struthers and Winthrop Management Corp. and as a financial writer at Fortune Magazine.
Grant is a past member of the board of the Nightingale-Bamford School, of which he was president from 1994 to 2004.
Grant graduated from Harvard College in 1971 and received an M.A. from Stanford University in 1975.
