Lea is a principal in Douglass Winthrop Advisors LLC. Previously, Lea was a Vice President in the Private Banking Group at U.S. Trust Company, where she served as a trust and custody specialist for high net worth individuals and families. Her experience also includes two years as an Alumnae Coordinator in the Radcliffe Alumnae Office.

Lea is on the board of the St. Bernard's School, the Chapin School Alumnae Board and The Coby Foundation. She is a past trustee of the Museum of the City of New York.

Lea graduated magna cum laude from Harvard.
