Jay is a principal in Douglass Winthrop Advisors, LLC. Previously, Jay was a Vice President in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at JP Morgan Chase, where he provided financial and strategic advice to companies in a range of industries. Jay also worked at Hambrecht & Quist LLC, helping early stage companies raise capital in private and public markets. Jay is active in environmental and economic policy.  He was chairman of the Conservation Fund until August 2022 and is a past chairman of American Farmland Trust. Jay served on the U.S. State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy (ACIEP) from 2014 through 2016. Jay received an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

With more than 30 years of experience, she advises families on trust, estate, and comprehensive wealth management strategies, bringing thoughtful counsel and long-term perspective to complex financial planning.

Lea serves on the boards of Highmark Trust Company, the Open Space Institute, and the National Board of Girls Inc. She is a former Treasurer of the Coby Foundation and the Adirondack Foundation, and a past Trustee of the Museum of the City of New York, The St. Bernard’s School, and The Chapin School. She currently serves on The Chapin School Alumnae Board.

Lea holds the CFP® and TEP® designations and earned an A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard University. She also completed the New York Bankers Association Essentials of Trust Administration program.

During this period he was also responsible for asset allocation and manager selection. Prior to NAI, he worked at Lazard Frères Asset Management as an analyst in the Fixed Income group. Bryce was appointed by the Governor of New York to serve as a Commissioner of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission. He also serves on the boards of Glynwood, a non-profit focused on regenerative agriculture in the Hudson Valley; The Rippowam Cisqua School in Bedford, New York; the Palisades Park Conservancy; Wave Hill, the New York Public Garden and Cultural Center; and on the Board of Advisors for the Mianus River Gorge Preserve. He has also served on the board of Part of the Solution, an organization helping low-income individuals move from crisis to stability. Bryce received a BS from the University of Vermont and an MBA from the McDonough School for Business at Georgetown University.

Bowdy is a principal in Douglass Winthrop Advisors, LLC, working in the firm’s Washington, DC office. He has over 25 years of experience in the investment management industry. Bowdy joined DWA from the Grosvenor Funds, a Washington, DC-based venture capital company where he was a founding principal. He led many of the firm’s investments in biotech, telecommunications, Internet and e-commerce. He was also a Founder and Principal of BlueWing Asset Management, a firm which made direct investments in mortgage backed securities and their derivatives. Bowdy began his career practicing with the law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP based in Washington, DC where his practice focused on corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions and venture capital. Bowdy also spent two years as Deputy Assistant Administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency with responsibility for toxic waste management and cleanup. Bowdy serves as an Advisor to the Civil Courage Prize and as a member of the board of the Waterfowl Research Foundation. Previously, he served on the boards of The Nature Conservancy, MD/DC Chapter, Hospice Care of the District of Columbia, the African Wildlife Foundation, The Ocean Foundation, and ORB Media. Bowdy received a BA in Economics from Trinity College and a JD from Georgetown University, where he served as an editor of the Tax Lawyer.

He was also a Founder and Principal of BlueWing Asset Management, a firm which makes direct investments in asset-backed securities. Oak is the Chair of the Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation and is a member of the board of directors of Sibley Memorial Hospital, John Hopkins Medicine. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Washington Home, a 125 year old Washington-based foundation that provides funding to entities that deliver innovative programs to improve the quality of life for elderly and/or terminally ill residents in the Washington, DC area. Dan is a principal in Douglass Winthrop Advisors, LLC, where he oversees the firm’s Sustainable Equity Strategy. Dan’s background at the intersection of business and the environment spans leadership roles in investing, manufacturing, academia, the non-profit sector and the federal government.  Prior to joining DWA, Dan was a Director at cleantech private equity firm, MissionPoint Capital Partners, and worked with Sir Chris Hohn and the endowment of the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation on private investing in climate change mitigation.  He co-founded and later served as CEO of Flowcastings GmbH, an innovative manufacturing company enabling efficiency gains and emissions reduction in the power and aviation sectors.  He also held strategy and operating positions in two Fortune 500 media companies. Dan served as an appointee at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where he played a key role in launching public/private partnerships to invest in environmental technologies and in developing the first U.S. National Action Plan on Climate Change. He was later appointed to the advisory committee of the U.S. National Climate Assessment. Dan won an Emmy Award as Executive Producer of the Showtime TV series, Years of Living Dangerously, which communicated climate change impacts and solutions to a U.S. and global audience. Dan also was appointed a Senior Fellow at Conservation International, where he developed a platform for evaluating corporate sustainability with philanthropic support from the Hewlett Foundation and ClimateWorks Foundation. He served as Associate Dean at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, during which he authored the book Americans and Climate Change. Dan received his AB, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He also received an MA and PhD from Stanford University.

Brad is a managing director at Douglass Winthrop Advisors, LLC. Previously, Brad had an accomplished career in the National Hockey League and played for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Dallas Stars, New York Rangers, Chicago Blackhawks, and Detroit Red Wings. In 2004, Brad led the Tampa Bay Lightning to their first Stanley Cup Championship, and was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Most Valuable Player in the playoffs. The same year, Brad also won the Lady Byng Trophy. During his three seasons with the Rangers, Brad provided valuable leadership to the team and assumed the role of de facto captain during the 2014 playoff season. While he was with the Chicago Blackhawks, Brad again won the 2015 Stanley Cup Championship. In 2007, Brad founded the Brad Richards Foundation to support children and families enduring chronic and life-threatening illness.

He began his career at Citibank, NA where he structured and originated complex derivative transactions. Tim earned a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Bowdoin College.
